Technological solutions are being sought to minimize or avoid the accumulation of copper concentrate in the CV5500 belt's mechanical drive system, which is made up of a drive system and a chain of links that passes through a set of sprockets (sprockets) ( see photos below). The moisture content of the concentrate at this point is 9.3%.
Preferably, solutions are sought that allow to protect, coat or avoid the adherence of concentrate in the translation system.
The solutions must allow a minimum presence of personnel in the field to avoid their exposure to accident risks. In addition, they must have a TRL maturity level> = 5, that is, at least at a prototype level validated in a complex or relevant environment.
